Business Education Examinations Council {BEEC}
BEEC is a member of the British based council for education in the common wealth. It was established in 1984 as a leading examinations council to conduct highly rated professional examinations in the specialized areas of management and business in Nigeria and Africa at large. It is approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria as one of the innovation Enterprises institutions; it is internationally recognized as one of the chattered common wealth examinations.
BEEC examinations offer opportunities of selecting a career in:
Advertising
Public Relations
Administrative Management
Business Management
Personnel Management
Sales Management and the
Federal Government Vocational certificate in Film production.
Also, candidate applying with duly accredited University degrees, HND, BEC/SCOTBEC Higher Awards or approved professional qualifications may be granted full or partial exemptions from the certificate level provided such qualifications have sufficient coverage of Business Studies, BEEC’S result can be used for career progression to highest degrees. That is, holders of BEEC qualifications are considered for admission into programmes leading to MBA and MSc in various University within and outside Nigeria.
Apart from these, the Diploma Certificate awarded by BEEC is generally of international acceptability and recognized by most professional bodies working in allied fields for exemptions. However, Associate Memberships” are granted by NIPR, CIPR APCON, NIMN and IMIM to holders of BEEC qualifications.

STAGES OF BEEC EXAMINATIONS
Professional Certificate level: open to candidates who are holders of OND, BEC/SCOTBEC National Awards in Business Studies or recognized equivalents. The professional certificate level consists of eight-subject papers divided into part I and II. The certificate is equivalent to BEC/SCOTBEC Higher Award or HNC.
Diploma level: this is the final part of BEEC examinations it consists of four subjects including a case study to register for Diploma exam, an applicant must have completed a certificate examinations or granted full exemption. BEEC Diploma is a post HND standard.
Note: Nature Applicants with a O’level certificate can register at the foundation level”. The stage consists of five papers which could be taken at a sitting.
